Other Professional Experiences

✓ Assist and advise routinely individuals (law students, law lecturers, scholars interested in examining maritime issues), organizations (for example, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Association of Vietnamese Historical Science, Institute of Southern Legal Studies), and Vietnamese government agencies (for instance, Committee on National Defense and Security – National Assembly, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Information and Communications) on issues regarding maritime law, law of the sea, and international law.

✓ Train under-graduated, graduated, and post-graduate law students annually for leading law schools in Vietnam such as Hanoi Law University, Security Academy, Faculty of Law – Foreign Trade University, School of Law – Vietnam National University, as well as lawyers of Judicial Academy of Vietnam and officials of the Ministry of Justice in the fields of international law, international trade law, international commercial law, international private law, international marine law, legal English, legal ethics and skills for lawyers.

✓ In cooperation with an arbitrator of VIAC, inform and lecture approximately 100 entrepreneurs on the topic “International Commercial Contract: Some Notices to Vietnamese Enterprises”, at the invitation of the Department of Industry and Trade of Hoa Binh province in December 2020.

✓ We publish numerous legal articles/publications and are regularly invited to a host of interviews about a wide range of legal issues such as Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Paracel Islands, the Philippines v. China case, China’s activities in the South China Sea, intellectual property rights, among others, in the widespread Vietnamese electronic websites such as:
