Assoc. Prof. Lawyer Tran Van Luyen is Senior Lawyer of VNJUST Law Firm.
Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Luyen received his Bachelor of Laws major in Criminal Technique from the People’s Police Academy in 1982. In 1994, he received his Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Criminal Law and obtained his Doctorate degree in Criminal Law in 2001.
Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Luyen has more than 24 years of experience in the fields of criminal, criminal procedure, forensic examination, and criminology.
Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Luyen is also Visiting Lecturer in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, and Criminology at the People’s Police Academy, Hanoi Law University, Institute of State and Law, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Graduate Academy of Social Sciences, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; Hanoi Open University, Judicial Academy; Faculty of Economic Law, National Economics University; People’s Public Security Political Academy; Hanoi University of Procuracy.
Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Luyen is also the author of multiple famous and leading books, papers, articles, newspapers, and magazines on criminal law and criminal procedure law.
With his magnificent achievements, he was awarded the Fatherland Security Distinguished Service Medal and the Third-Class Fatherland Defense Order by the President of Vietnam in 2007 and in 2017 respectively.
