In an atmosphere rich in Malaysian cultural identity, the participants shared memorable moments – not only through traditional dishes prepared by two talented chefs from Berjaya Times Square Hotel (Kuala Lumpur), but also in celebration of Malaysia’s Notable Achievements in its role as ASEAN Chair:

Cambodia and Thailand reached a ceasefire agreement on 28 July following mediation efforts led by Malaysia – a positive milestone for peace and regional stability.

The participants extended their congratulations on this achievement, while reaffirming ASEAN’s central role in addressing intra-regional issues based on the principles of friendship, solidarity, and respect for international law.

Practice continues to demonstrate that differences, disagreements, and conflicts can be resolved when parties maintain goodwill and uphold international law.
